Key: I have personally downloaded all of these programs and to the best of my knowledge put this together. If you find somewhere that I have made a mistake PLEASE go to the bottom of this screen and click on the top Human Click icon. If you know of a program that I have missed (there are a lot of em' out there!) please let me know. The chart is pretty self explanatory. If you don't understand something in the chart, it should be explained below. Where there are numbers I have rated what I think (10 being the best) are the strong and week points. Under "Easy Search" a 10 means that you can search for a word and it will not only give you the verses, but will also tell you how many times the word was used in those verses. Under Easy Copy/Paste a 10 represents the fact that you can customize how you are copying a passage of scripture (instead of getting: Ge 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.-you can customize and get: Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. -or whatever you would like.

e-Sword www.e-sword.net Excellent program! This is about the best program that you will find free or otherwise! It is very easy to use and very powerful. If you need more than what the standard program comes with there are a LOT of add-ons with more on the way. I can't say enough about this program!

The Word www.answersInGenesis.org/OnlineBible *Many add-ons are only available on the CD. Free program to download. There are also a very large number of add-ons to download. The CD which is updated regularly has a wealth of information can be purchased.

Theophilos www.theophilos.sk Great Program! Contains a wealth of add-ons that can be downloaded. Also (for a fee) you can make your own add-ons to use with the program.

The Sword Project www.crosswire.org/ This program has all of the add-ons you would want just like the other programs. It is not as powerful using them. One great thing about this is you can get the CD for $1.50 per CD and $1.50 S/H, which i don't see how it even covers the cost of making and sending. The CD includes every add-on available at the time. They also have a java based free Bible program at the same site.
